Structure Study
我们设计了两种不同尺寸的木榫来作为硅胶和纸管之间的连接。节点分为三类,底部节点四种,支撑节点两种,标准节点一种。这些木榫和节点都是预制和标准的。
        
We designed two sizes of wood dowel to connect the paper tube and silicon. There are three classes of joints; four types of ground joints, two types of bracing joints and one type of regular joints. The production of joints is all prefabricated in the shop.


整体结构是由三个拱形组成的。罟坶由三个入口,三个完全相同的侧面。杆件包括了纸管和铝管,连接件包括了各种种类的硅胶节点。为了使结构稳定站立,结构系统是中心对称的。但是,为了使结构灵活可动,我们根据现场情况删减掉了一些支撑纸筒。这是一个很有意思的稳定性和灵活性之间的平衡。
 
The whole structure is a combination of three arches. It has three entrances and three same sides. The bar members are paper tubes and aluminum pipe. The connection members are different types of silicon joints. To make the structure stable, the structure system is centro-symmetric. However, to make the structure flexible, we delete some bracing paper tubes in conditions. The balance between the stability and flexibility is very interesting.
